Blue Cow Moving is a full-service moving and storage company based in Ankeny, Iowa. We’re passionate about delivering a stress-free experience that people genuinely enjoy. Our team is trained in-house, background-checked, and fully focused on making your move simple, safe, and smooth.

The business started in 2018, when a young mover in a blue hoodie decided he could do things differently. He believed people deserved better—more care, better communication, and less chaos. That idea grew from a single truck into Blue Cow Moving, one of Iowa’s most trusted local moving companies.

Since day one, we’ve followed the “Golden Rule” for moving: treat customers the way we’d want to be treated. That means showing up on time, protecting every piece of furniture, and solving problems before they happen. We don’t subcontract, and we never cut corners.
